The apps.odoo.com catalogue: our own count
How many modules the official catalogue shows for each series. We counted them ourselves, walking the listing at one request per second; the number the site prints sits beside ours as an observation, not as our denominator.

The denominator is the number of distinct technical names our own walk saw. The catalogue is ordered by relevance and that order may shift between our requests, so we also count repeats: when there are many, we say “collected N” and do not say “all”.

The store shows 43 263 listings on 18.0 and 41 541 on 19.0: 1 722 fewer (4.0%).
For comparison, our OCA index holds 2 961 modules on 18.0 and 1 361 on 19.0 — 54.0% fewer. These are two different sets measured two different ways: ours by a directory holding an __manifest__.py in a branch, theirs by what a publisher chose to list. The percentages may stand side by side; they may not be treated as the same thing.

How many OCA modules are listed in the catalogue under the same technical name. That is a weak statement and deliberately so: a matching name does not prove matching code.

Two snapshots, two dates: the catalogue was read on 2026-08-28, our OCA index on 2026-09-16. The overlap is computed between them, so every number in this table ages from two sides independently.
Matches whose listing is paid
A fact with two links and no word of judgement: our module page on the left, the catalogue page on the right. What actually sits there under that name we did not check and do not claim.
And, straight away, about lawfulness — without this the table reads as an exposé rather than a fact. OCA modules are free software under AGPL-3 or LGPL-3, and those licences expressly permit anyone to redistribute the code, including for a fee, provided the licence terms are kept. A paid listing of a module whose code is OCA is therefore lawful redistribution. We record the name match and give both links; we draw no conclusion about the listing itself from it.
What is not here: download counts, stars, ratings, and any ordering by them — that is a vendor ranking, which this project forbids itself. Nor are module descriptions: that text is the catalogue’s, not ours.
